KOREA MEDICAL DEVICES INDUSTRIAL COOP. ASSOCIATION (KMDICA)
KMDICA, an association approved by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and supported by Middle and Small Companies Fosterage Law, organizes statistical data of domestically-produced medical equipments which covers approximately 80% of the turnover of domestic manufacturers. KMDICA’s role is to encourage exports and offers administrative support to its members. As it is, the value of the Korean medical device market particularly in its electromedical sector, has increased substantially over the years. Korean made medical devices remain competitive and are widely used in hospitals, clinics and medical and science laboratories all over the world. Korea is also recognized as one of the most advanced countries in regard to medical human resources, medical technology and medical facilities.

SHENZHEN ASSOCIATION OF MEDICAL DEVICES (SAMD)
Shenzhen is the center of research and development with the production of integrated high-tech medical equipment products as one of its strengths. The main products manufactured in this region include monitoring equipment, ultrasound, MRI and other medical imaging equipment, and gamma knife, X-knife stereotactic irradiation equipment and other massive tumor hyperthermia equipment, a direct reflection of modern medical equipment using the latest technology. TAIWAN MEDICAL AND BIOTECH INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION
Taiwan is a leader in the manufacturing of medical devices, producing diagnostic test kits and equipment and mechanical products such as portable electrocardiograms, motorized vehicles for the elderly, and digital thermometers, blood pressure, glucose monitors and pulse oximeters. Taiwan’s implementation of the "Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) on Medical Device" gives assurance that products manufactured in Taiwan meet global regulatory standards.
Both Taiwan’s medical and biotechnology industries are fast emerging high tech industries which continuously introduce innovative new products and many of these products have received the Taiwan Excellence Award.
