NiFreeT is an innovative nickel-FREE biomaterial protected by a patented design. It consists of approximately 50% Titanium, 50% Tantalum, and a small amount of Tin. This unique alloy possesses exceptional characteristics, including high tensile strength, elongation, and elastic limit, along with a low Young's modulus that closely matches that of human bone. Notably, Tantalum, one of the key components, contributes to the alloy's radiopacity, distinguishing it from other Titanium alloys due to its high atomic number.
We have successfully completed nine biocompatibility tests in accordance with ISO10993, demonstrating the material's suitability for medical devices, particularly implantable applications. Additionally, the material complies with the ASTM standard for MRI safety, ensuring compatibility during magnetic resonance imaging procedures.
