Nursing and Health Literacy for Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Management

Chronic diseases, especially non-communicable diseases are a major problem that threatens health and health care systems. With the worsening situation of chronic illnesses, nursing professionals have a greater role and potential to help solve NCDs; firstly to promote primary and secondary prevention of NCDs at health care facilities, and secondly to lead the society as a health-promoting role model.

To address these issues, the Nurses Association of Thailand will be organising the ‘Nursing and Health Literacy for NCD Management’ conference on 12- 13 September, at BITEC, alongside MEDICAL FAIR THAILAND 2019.
